Finding an editor
Hiring my first editor for my debut novel feels like hiring someone to clean your house. You’re worried about how messy it is even though you tried to clean it before they came. 😅
Maybe it’s just me but it feels reel intimate to have them in your story looking for mistakes you know you missed! Like please don’t judge my lack of commas and typos.
I haven’t found one yet because there are different types and I plan to gather a few beta readers before but I’m on the lookout.
Oh, I get this so much!! And a little scary too? I’m working on writing my debut as well. I have a long road before needing edits, but I am dreading the time and process! 😂
